STAND-INN
STAND-INN is an EU funded project on the use of standards and innovation to support the development and use of sustainable work practices in the European building construction sector
STAND-INN is a 2 year funded project under the EU-INNOVA scheme. It is led by SINTEF Byggforsk in Norway and brings together over 30 organisations in Europe and China to define how technology based standards such as IFC, IFD (Information Framework for Dictionaries) and IDM (Information Delivery Manual) can add value to sustainable design and procurement.
buildingSMART International is a major partner in the project responsible for project information dissemination. Other buildingSMART Chapters involved in the project include UK, French Speaking, German Speaking, Iberia, Italy, Nordic (Norwegian Forum).
A key outcome of the project is intended to be support for the development of a standard for IFC based common data structure for service life data (ISO 15686 part 4)
