- Overview
- An overview of the trading message standards currently supported by, or being developed with the support of, BuildingSMART UK and CITE.
- Tendering
- The UN/CEFACT Tendering Standard comprises 20 individual messages: Examination Result Notification, Invitation to Tender, Letter of Invitation to Tender, Prequalification Application, Qualification Application, Qualification Result Notice, Reception of Prequalification Application, Reception of Qualification Application, Reception of Registration Application, Reception of Request for Tender Information, Reception of Response of Tender Guarantee, Reception of Tender, Reception of Tender Guarantee, Registration Application, Request for Tender Information, Response of Tender Guarantee, Tender, Tender Guarantee, Tender Information, and Tender Result Notice.
- Bill of Quantities
- This standard, sometimes referred to as the 'CITE4.2' or 'CITE' standard, describes the agreed ASCII format for both unpriced and priced Bills of Quantities (BoQ’s), with associated documents. IMPORTANT NOTE: This standard has now been superseded and replaced by the Tendering Standard.
- Enquiry
- The CITE Enquiry standard was developed as a sub-set of the UN/EDIFACT REQUOTE/QUOTE standards. IMPORTANT NOTE: This standard is no longer supported by CITE. It will be replaced by an equivalent UN/CEFACT XML Standard in due course.
- Quotation
- The CITE Quotation standard was developed as a sub-set of the UN/EDIFACT QUOTES standard. IMPORTANT NOTE: This standard is no longer supported by CITE. It will be replaced by an equivalent UN/CEFACT XML Standard in due course.
- Orders
- The CITE orders standard was developed as a sub-set of the UN/EDIFACT ORDERS standard. IMPORTANT NOTE: This standard is no longer supported by CITE. It will be replaced by an equivalent UN/CEFACT XML Standard in due course.
- Despatch Advice
- The CITE Despatch Advice standard was developed as a sub-set of the UN/EDIFACT DESADV standard. IMPORTANT NOTE: This standard is no longer supported by CITE. It will be replaced by an equivalent UN/CEFACT XML Standard in due course.
- Goods Receipt (Bar Codes)
- The CITE standard for Goods Receipt (Bar Codes) covers the automation of the process of receiving material deliveries. IMPORTANT NOTE: This standard is no longer supported by CITE.
- Invoice
- The CITE Invoice standard was developed as a sub-set of the EDIFACT 92.1 INVOIC standard, Status 2. IMPORTANT NOTE: This standard is no longer supported by CITE. BuildingSMART UK/CITE recommends the use of the UN/CEFACT Cross Industry Invoice XML Standard.
- Project Information Exchange
- This standard provides a comprehensive solution to the exchange of these and other documents which are collectively referred to as “Project Information”. IMPORTANT NOTE: This standard is no longer supported by CITE.
- Reinforced Bar Schedule
- This CITE standard supports the effective transfer of steel reinforcement bar schedule information between designers, detailers, contractors, fabricators and site based personnel. IMPORTANT NOTE: This standard is no longer supported by CITE.
- Software
- Information about software that supports CITE standards. CITE also certifies software applications that supports CITE standards. Details of what this means and the software that has been certified can be found here.
